Nowadays communication is more visual. The world is turning into a collection of bright screens, and the message is in the form of image or animation.
It depends on us how we build this world. AMURAL mission is to promote education, visual beauty, to help society find its meaning.
One of the most intelligent cultural events from Romania, the festival combines creativity and technology, city and nature, art and entertainment into a true outdoor cultural center.
The idea this year is joining creative people, where 1 plus 1 do 3, thus celebrating the things that bring them together: city + nature, history + technology, art + entertainment,
mind + soul.
The Festival is aimed at both target audience consisting of creative artists and trendsetters but also people eager for knowledge.
The festival offeres:
• Illustration – the largest exhibition is the illustration which occupy three floors of the White Tower, and it is presented by 30 illustrators with 200 works.
Artists: Buckcherry Rita (POR), Lea Ra, Sadiq Petroleum Jelly .
• Sculpture – Sets and scenes will represent works of art. At the festival are invited sculptors involved in such construction.
• For the first time since the beginning, here, will take place a play and a contemporary dance, both accompanied by screenings.
Play: iHamlet( Bucuresti), Dance troupe -Trupa Szigligeti (Oradea).
• Visual Poetry – Poetry has made its way to the AMURAL since the first edition, demonstrating once again her versatility. At this event, will participate poets who will recite poems using the visual side, poetry as performance and music, all in one mix.
• Graffiti mural art – in previous years, we changed vandalized walls, in three works of art which greets visitors.
This year’s artists: Millo (ITA), Kitra (Bucharest), Saddo (Bucharest).
• Digital- It will take place in medieval bastion with the latest technologies-VR, touch, 3D printer and GIF Festival-exhibition of GIFs on the tablet.
• In 2016 we brought new artistic expression to AMURAL, Brasov met for the first time with the work of two painters with an authentic and edgy vision.

During the day, through the forest, after the walls, students of classical music will surprise us with concerts, and each evening will conclude with live music.
At the beginning of the night, here will take place video-mapping on monuments. Video projections will be carried out on Saint Nicolas Church, on the wall of the citadel on the Black Tower and in many other places across the city.
